Rainy Rock!

February 9th 2011!
I had 4 hours of teaching in the morning at a local elementary school.
I finished at 11:30 and rushed home in time to meet up with HiroThing.
The weather was looking bad and just as I pulled up it started raining!
Hiro (rain boy) and I were pumped to ride and too off to Saidoshyou!
As we arrived the rain was at a steady shower but light enough to continue on!
The temperature was at a cool 4-5 degrees so we did not want to get too wet.
I had 2 hours of free time so, we headed up and had a blast!
The climb on this mountain is never ending and we could climb for hours it timed allowed but we wanted to be back to the car at 3:30 so I could make it to work!
Just as we were at a good point to head back down due to time it started pouring!
The trial went from a wet muddy base to a slimy slippery mess!
So, we turned around and had a nice ride!
This is a very steep rocky trail and it was Hiro's first time.
He did a nice job on my borrowed TBC Double.

Gumball and I had just 2 hours to play and say,
 RIDE-ON!
 I was able to compress two hours of nonstop trail riding and jumping into two minutes!
We had a very nice time and when it was time to leave we both were just warmed up wanted more!

Homegrown Tour 2011, Playground Skate Hall Aurich

Suturday was a rainy and windy day, so Birgit and I went to watch the mountain bike street contest in the Playground Skate Hall at Aurich. There are three skate hall events in Germany each winter, which they call the Homegrown Tour. The video shows random impressions of the warm up and the contest on 5 February 2011.

The weather wasn't that great, but me and my wife thoughen up and went, from one side of the island to the other to have a nice day riding and just having fun! Got to FR on an old DH trail and the rest of the time, was spent by exploring all the little spots around the lake!

I found a new trial yesterday trying to avoid the melting wet snow at the top of the mountain!
The trail is not so long but its really steep and fast!

There are a lot trails and places to ride,
Some of which are really fast, other which are super difficult.
And there are trials that showcase the bikes technology!

This looks like paradise!

Goats Peak Trail

New trail for you guys to watch! Had to pedal all the way up, but the reward was awesome! RideOn! Ricardo Azores
