Last Friday my ride was cut shot, literally, ahhahahahhahahhaha
On the way down a stick got stuck in my rear spokes grabbing my brake line and tearing it into 2.

Going down a steep trial was very scary with no rear brake.
All I can say is 2 brakes are very important!

Salto do Prego Trail

This is a stupendous little trail that runs from my new work place to the village of  Faial da Terra!

It's pretty stepp, and some parts you just have to carry the bike as the rocks are huge, I've cutted most of the trail, so it wouldn't be too boring to watch!

I'm a bit sick, with the cold, and had a bit of gardening to do today, so, thinking about my great ride tomorrow, I've saved my strenght and just played around in the ground that will be my future home!

Friday the 29th of April here in Japan is a National Holiday!
Greenery Day!

I had to retreat early as my rear brake cable got cut in half.
I had no oil in my line and went home early!
However the boys continued on for an awesome ride!
Momo found a new rock drop thats about 4 meters, WOW!
Then another 3 meter drop with a  4 meter gap! WOW!
Very cool!

Hailloh

Every spring and every autumn we visit my aunt at Schnaittach. The Hailloh is a forest there where we always ride our bikes. The location is really called Hailloh, which I think is rather weird. Think of the military chant, Hail oh Hail oh Infantry or Hail LOH (Legions Of Hell)! Let's hope the place isn't haunted. The word hail should indicate that it's a good place and loh in old German could mean that you can gather oak bark for tanning, which makes sense although it may not be the correct explanation.

Hiro is a fast diligent performer!
As I was working all morning long, Hiroshi spent 4 hours cutting and clearing a shot trial
in front of his dads house.
When I finished work we went there to vast in the beauty of Hiro's trial!
A short twist trial thats is somewhat slow and very technical through all the tight trees!
As we clean and ride here the trial should start to come to life.
It would be cool to have a little trial like this out your door step to play and create in!

Weedy Mystery!

Saturday was a very cloudy somewhat cold day.
I took off early and rode from my house to a close by mountain.
I have been unable to ride here in the last 4 years due to some very heavy construction.
This trail was once a popular place with a beautiful green atmosphere as you climbed up the trial.
Well, since the construction started to build or dig a tunnel connecting 2 cities the trail was blocked off.
Its a good loop from my house and back, I was out for 5 hours and had a good time.
The scenery is amazing this time of the years, stunning flowers everywhere!
