A Local Freeride Project

The Piesberg, a hill with freeride potential. Picture taken by Dirk Baunack, source: wikimedia commons.

Today I want to show you a YouTube video by Johannes Kottwitz. The Piesberg is a hill where a group of local riders are about to build freeride trails. The Piesberg freeride project's aim is to have brand new freeride trails in 2011, also good for me!

Brother, I love the iniciative, and the trails show great potencial for just about any type of riding, weather you like to jump, go fast, go betwen roots, between trees...I don't like the jumping so much, but I lived the rest!!!

It is a hill which is not very far from where I live and I've contacted the leader of that initiative, because I want to support the project and be able to ride there myself. Remember, we don't have many hills in this flat area around here.

Then you'll have a nearby freeride park brother.
When will they star building it? After winter time?

It's Ricardo!

I believe they are building all the time. In the past the trail was always destroyed by the authorities, but now there have been negotiations.
