Magura Gustav M

There is a mild hype about new Magura brakes for 2011. That's how I got the idea to take those pictures of the classic Magura Gustav M with the rectangular reservoir as on the 1997-2000 models, which my wife  Birgit still uses on her Grossman FDT 2001 hardtail. After a decade it is still perfectly reliable and offers ultimate brake power.

Those brakes bring me back some cool memories brother. Always thought Magura was a great brand, and I'm stoked for the 2011 Magura's come back my friend!

We have got several Avid, Shimano and Hope brakes on our bikes, but we've also got four bikes with Magura brakes, my Alutech Wildsau Hardride and my Nicolai 2MXTB are equipped with Magura Louise Freeride brakes, Birgit's Grossman FDT has got the Gustav M at the front and a Louise Freeride at the rear and Birgit's Kona Stinky has got the cheap but reliable Magura Julie.

Wow brother...I can't find any Magura where I live...now everybody uses Avid and Saint...even Hayes are starting to fade away...I always found Magura and Hayes to be the best brands...
