Homegrown Tour 2011, Playground Skate Hall Aurich

Suturday was a rainy and windy day, so Birgit and I went to watch the mountain bike street contest in the Playground Skate Hall at Aurich. There are three skate hall events in Germany each winter, which they call the Homegrown Tour. The video shows random impressions of the warm up and the contest on 5 February 2011.

Happy trails and RideOn! Manny

Those riders are real pro's Manny, that's about all I can say...not to found of bike parks, but I trully admire the skill and strenght required to do all those expert tricks!

RideOn!

Ricardo, my friend, this is not a bike park. Only once a year such a competition takes place at the Aurich Skate Hall and this is only because it's winter. Some of the riders I filmed are just local kids from the Town of Aurich and far from being pros, many of the others you can see in this video are amateurs. You are lucky to be able to ride natural trails all year round unlike people in many other countries. RideOn!
